Stan, a screenwriter, had his period of Fame in Hollywood. Having become an alcoholic and suicidal, he wandered around his private hotel and struggled to write a new script. He has only one reason to live : his daughter, Charlotte, who considers him responsible for his mother's death in a traffic accident. Since then, they have had a confrontational relationship, and as her father shamelessly flirts with her classmates, Charlotte feels uncomfortable.
